What is Torque Locker?
Torque Locker is a comprehensive platform for motorsport enthusiasts to track their performance, analyze their data, and connect with other drivers. We combine GPS telemetry with vehicle data to give you professional-grade analytics.
What devices are compatible?
We support file imports (.GPX, .FIT) from most major GPS loggers including RaceBox, Garmin Catalyst, VBOX, and Apple Watch. Direct device integration is currently pending approval and will be available soon.
How do I import files from my device?
To import data from devices like Apple Watch, Garmin, or Racebox, simply export the session file (.GPX or .FIT) from your device's native app. Then, navigate to the "Import" section in Torque Locker and upload the file to analyze your run.
Can I compare my laps with friends?
Yes! The "Teams" feature allows you to create Public or Private Teams. You can compete on Team Leaderboards and view detailed session summaries for all team members to see how you stack up.
Do you support custom tracks?
We have an extensive database of global circuits. If your track is missing, Pro users can create Custom Tracks using our editor.
Is my telemetry data private?
By default, all uploaded sessions are Public and your username and best lap time will be displayed in the leaderboards. However only accepted friends can view your detailed session data.
How accurate is the lap timing?
Accuracy depends on your hardware. With a standard phone GPS (10Hz), accuracy is within +/- 0.5s. With a dedicated 10Hz or 25Hz logger (like RaceBox), accuracy is typically within +/- 0.05s.
Does the mobile app work offline?
Yes. You can record sessions without an internet connection. The app will cache the data and automatically sync it to the cloud once you are back online.
